2018 Top 10 Fantasy Wide Receivers

These initial rankings may seem a bit bold at times, but we wanted to have fun with it and go with our guts and bump some of the players we are hype on. These will certainly be changed and expanded on as we move through the preseason games and find out more about the teams and players' roles.

SLEEPERS AND BUSTS - WEEK 8

Week 7 has come and gone, and what did we learn? We learned that the 2017 Atlanta Falcons are not the 2016 Falcons. We learned that the Zeke Elliot legal roller coaster is going to be a thorn in his owners side for at least 2 more days. But we were reminded that he is way to good to sell for peanuts and can carry your team in the playoffs, even if he is suspended this season.

SLEEPERS AND BUSTS - WEEK 7

WEEK 6 HAS COME AND GONE, AND WHAT DID WE LEARN? We learned that no one is safe. 2017 has now claimed the #1 RB in David Johnson, arguably the #1 WR in OBJ, and now the #1 QB inAaron Rodgers. Gronk better watch his back. We learned that Kyle Shanahan was more important to the Falcon's offense than previously believed. We learned that the Andrew Luck comeback suffered a set back. And, we learned that Deshaun Watson is no joke.

WAIVER WIRE PICKUPS - WEEK 7

Another week is in the books. And another group of players find themselves in the hospital. Aaron Rodgers and Leonard Fournette headline the list of players that didn’t make it out of Week 6 unscathed. Although, it appears Fournette avoided a major injury. A combination of these weekly injuries, Ezekiel Elliot's ongoing legal troubles,  and another week of Byes, make playing the waiver wire a key to either righting the ship or maintaining your bearings for a championship.

They Are Who We Thought They Were?

Another week is in the books. And another group of players find themselves in the hospital. Odell Beckham Jr headlines a list of players that didn’t make it out of Week 5 unscathed. A combination of these weekly injuries and another week of Byes, make playing the waiver wire a key to either righting the ship or maintaining your bearings for a championship.

SLEEPERS AND BUSTS - WEEK 5

WEEK 4 HAS COME AND GONE, AND WHAT DID WE LEARN?We learned that Thursday Night Games are still living up to their reputation of being outliers. I need to expand on this for a minute. Does anyone really believe that a game featuring two of the worst defenses in the league would end 19-14 if it was played on a Sunday? SMDH. We learned that Kyle Shannahan is more than happy to throw the ball 50 times with... Wait, who? Are you sure? Whatever... Brian Hoyer, instead of give the ball to Carlos Hyde. We learned that Deshaun Watson can play at this level. And, we learned that Mitch Trubisky is going to get his shot too.

WAIVER WIRE PICKUPS - WEEK 5

Having success on the waiver wire is an integral part of any championship fantasy football campaign.  Week 4 proved to be damning for a lot of our fantasy teams. It claimed Dalvin Cook, Ty Montgomery, Chris Carson, and Rob Kelley (again). Julio Jones and Mohammed Sanu each suffered injuries, although it appears (at least for Julio) he escaped without major damage. Also, Week 5 brings us our first set of Byes (if you don't count Miami's and Tampa's Week 1 Bye) so some of you may be looking for plug and play options. Here are the Waiver Wire Pickups we are recommending for Week 5.

SLEEPERS AND BUSTS - WEEK 4

Week 3 has come and gone, and what did we learn? We learned that our concerns about Cam Newtown are completely warranted. We learned that TY Hilton is still a top talent at WR. We are learning that despite all the offseason hype, Isaiah Crowell cannot be counted on to be a RB2, let alone a RB1. And, we learned that Murray might not have as much of a stranglehold on the Tennessee backfield as many may believe. That duo might be shaping up to be a Freeman/Coleman 2.0. I think I learned that Henry is the guy I want rest of season.

FREAKS, GEEKS, AND THE GAME OF THE WEEK - WEEK 3

Week 2 has come and gone, and what did we learn? We learned that offensive lines cannot be fixed in a week, and that they can kneecap your fantasy studs. We learned that overreacting to one Week is not something you should do, right Tom Brady owners? Then again, we learned that some over reactions are warranted - looking at you Eli, Brandon Marshall, and Paul Perkins.  We learned that Odell Beckham Jr. and LeGarrette Blount do not care about your fantasy teams. And, Blount learned that fantasy players don't care aboutplay. His emoji, not mine.
